What’s a good price to sell my sim?

i purchased my skytrak with FMJ for $1500 plus tax and shipping. it was 11 months old. that was back when new ones were back ordered 6+week. i dont think they are back ordered anymore. i dont think TGC2019 can be sold separately. it can only be sold to whoever buys your skytrak. it needs to be registered to the same person the skytrak is registered. there is also a transfer fee for the software. 

 

as a general rule when im buying or selling used stuff is 50-75% off original retail.

I got my Skytrak for $1550 off of FB marketplace but one guy had a complete setup for $2100 and it got snatched up immediately. Hopefully that is some reference point.

$3k easy, probably more. 

Low ends:

1. ST = 1300

2. Optoma = 600

3. TGC19 = 600
4. Acer = 600

5. Turf = 300

6. Screen = 150

 

Total = 3550, very modest too.

 

Anything less than 3k would be robbery. ST + TGC19 alone retails for 3k.

I can't speak to the other components but on GSF Skytrak routinely lists for 1400-1600 currently (incl shipping to CONUS). TGC2019 licenses vary, depending on whether the seller eats the one-time transfer fee - I think around 800-850 including the fee is a fairly typical rate.

The transfer fee kills the deal for TGC 2019 I think.  You'd get 300 - 400 after the fee.

$3000-4000....case closed. Sims aren’t cheap, anyone wanting a better price can “try” finding it. Everything pieced together is going to run you $5k+, good luck!
