A bit lost - feedback appreciated

Hi everyone - hoping to get some feedback surrounding where my swing is at. I was working with a pro last fall, and for those familiar with my swing - I was finally able to stop my front foot from doing the violent jump that it used to. All winter I had been hitting the ball really well - but developed the shanks seemingly out of nowhere and can’t figure it out. Any thoughts or glaring observations would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Your backswing is extremely shallow causing your downswing to be very steep, causing shanks.  You need to do the opposite. 
 

You’re also opening the club face a large amount in the backswing. This will cause you to lead with the heel into the ball.

Setup

Butt too far behind heels -1st still

 

 

Your problems emanate  from your takeaway . You must clear up your takeaway before working on anything else. 

 

Takeaway -your  hands immediately start to move away from your torso  and then you roll the club inside -2nd still

 

Suggestion 

You need to imagine that there is a catcher , with his mitt directly behind your hands and just off of your rear leg. 
During your takeaway  move  your hands so that the BACK of your trail hand moves into the mitt without any roll of your forearms 
 

Then practice the below drill

Like we touched on last year, you're doing a dozen different extremely unorthodox things that all look like they're almost intentionally trying to make things difficult, and unless there is a physical limitation/injury that you're working around then none of these things are helping you. The drastic change in backswing plane combined with what looks like an extremely deliberate rolling and cupping of your left wrist setting the clubface wide open to the extreme dipping of your head down very early and equally severe early extension and flipping.....its a laundry list of things that all need to change if you want to have any level of consistency.

Thank you so so much everyone. As a general question - does this video from over the summer look drastically better? Not sure I want to continue with the same pro just due to proximity to me; but if this swing was worlds better it might be worth the drive.

It does not, no. It has all the same quirks which are leading to a severely early extended and flippy impact position.
