Universal Temporary Cart Covers?

My mother (his Grandma) loves to watch my 12 yr old boy play in his golf tournaments.  However, living in Indy, the Spring season is typically rife with rain, wind, cold, and even snow (like today).  Combine that with the fact she has two artificial knees, she always rents a cart and freezes or gets soaked.  So, I'm thinking about picking up a golf cart cover that has j-clips or something on the bottom to throw over a rental cart when she comes to watch him play.  However, it seems like most enclosures aren't meant for this purpose (they're more permanent) and are often manufacturer specific.

 

Anyone have something like what I'm looking for that you'd recommend for me to look at?  Best possible option I've seen so far is something from "National Cart Covers" but I need to call them to see if their covers are mfgr. universal.

 

Anyway, would love to get your thoughts/suggestions.

I have no idea about that.  I know a battery powered heated jacket really helps me in the cold though.

You might get better answers to this in another section besides the Jr Golf one. That being said...

 

Most cart covers are meant to be taken on and off. I'm not sure where you're getting the "permanent" idea from. Also, although some are manufacturer specific, most are made to fit multiple brands of carts. 

 

FWIW you might want to check with the courses she will be regularly going to see if they will allow you to bring a cart cover before you go out and buy one.

We done tournaments up in the Carolinas and it can get cold up there. I seen people use something like this

Not sure how well it works but I always thought a good rain jacket and blanket worked well.
