1st Time Video Poster

Can't believe I'm posting this, but I know I need help and funds aren't quite there to take lessons because of a $1,200 car repair. Looking for any pointers I can work on next time I'm out on the range. 

I didn't get a back view which I will have to get next time I'm out. Also will see if I can borrow my camera from work so I can catch a better view of impact.

Im not a pro, but to me, it looks like you start your downswing with a sway, then then pull down your arms.

 

Setup, i would add some tilt, especially with driver. Then feel like you're staying behind the ball.

 

While adding tilt, I think a drill that would help would be to keep the back pointing to the target, as well as keeping the arms up as long as you possibly can.

 

That should force you to start with your hips and lower body.

 

Again, not a pro so others will prob give better advice.

All good gaffs! I'm up for conversation and in helping each other out. I see what you mean by the sway. I recall seeing a video buy a famous golf coach, but I can't remember his name. But he talks about coiling up and coiling down. That's probably one thing I can start to work on.

Problems with pelvic “ rotation” going back and coming down .

To correct this , think of your RIGHT  front pocket moving in back of you ( away from the target line) going back . Doing so will straighten your right leg a little 

Going down think of your LEFT front pocket moving behind you . This will straighten your left leg . While your left leg should not be straight at impact  , it should be in the process of straightening.

I am all sway and arms, no pelvic/shoulders turn as you guys called out.

Your pictures sums it up perfectly. Morikawa has cleared his hips while yours is still facing the ball.  You are swinging with the upper body which is also causing you to flip at the ball to make contact. Use your legs and core to make a turn back and through with soft arms and hands. The club will do the rest for you 😉.
