Help with EE rotation and trail arm

Any suggestions as to what may be causing me to extend? I understand extension may be more of an effect to compensate to hit the ball well. I know It’s limiting my rotation and trail arm extension. Would love any suggestions

You're firing from your right side in transition instead of using your left, and thankfully its very visible with what you're doing:



Right there, your very first lower body move in transition is to kick your right leg towards the ball while your left leg is pretty passive. This is backwards and leads to this very simple problem:



By trying to drop your hands straight down into the space that your right leg is moving in to, your brain says "oh s***, reroute!" and your path kicks out while you start leaning away from the ball to counter the forces you're sending towards it (your lower body). By using your legs backwards in transition, your body now has to work backwards to compensate by extending and losing spine angle. The fix is learning how to use your lower body correctly, and i'll use an extreme example to illustrate:



All the right side does here is collapse in towards the left while that left side drives backwards. ALL of your focus on creating lower body rotation should be focused on how you drive your left leg back, not how you kick your right leg forward. Getting these fundamentals correct is why Niemann will out drive you by 70yds every time despite the fact that i'm pretty sure you could snap him in half between your forearm and bicep. 😂

Thank you for that analysis! It makes perfect sense. It seems like both left and right hips are really supposed to be moving away from the ball. That last part is hilarious. Maybe I can be on his security detail 😂🤔
