Easy Tempo Technique - real deal or not?

Just saw a long advertising demo from Eric C about Faldo's "Easy Tempo Technique". Tempo, especially under pressure or towards the end of a round when I'm a bit tired, is something I struggle with immensely. So I'd be happy to pay for some real insight/practice techniques, but not sure if this thing is the real deal or not?

Check out Dr. Kwon on youtube. In particular the step drills (with kettlebell) and rope drills.

Free instruction, cheap tools, not very technical, and separate to the actual swing in a way so you don't get bogged down with technique issues

Cogorno and Faldo both actually have a pretty good degree of credibility with me.  They are both out to make money, but who in the golf business isn’t?  I have Cogorno to thank for the concept (from one of his free videos) of left lean in the backswing to get the shoulders on plane, and that idea eventually led me to getting my whole body working much better and my balls going longer and straighter from a descending strike.  Faldo’s ideas such as the preset have worked for a lot of people over the years, and the only knock on him as a player and possibly teacher seems to be that he sacrificed distance for control, which isn’t in fashion now.  His book (The Winning Formula perhaps) is quite detailed and idiosyncratic enough to indicate he wrote it himself.

 

I’d buy a pig in a poke from them…if I wanted to buy a pig over the internet, where all pigs come in pokes.

 

To label their product with an expletive, without real knowledge about it, does the OP a disservice.
 

The idea of swinging easy vs hard comes up often, without much resolution, because the ideas are vague, and have different application in the learning process vs the performing process.
 

I’m as wary anybody else of the idea that some simple piece of instruction can transform your swing.  But after learning to swing better, I realized in fact that a fairly simply piece of knowledge (on how to use the body) would probably help a lot of people a whole lot.

 

This seems to deal with “tempo,” which to me means speed, when what is important is the sequence of what happens.  On the other hand, I can see where they want to refer to fixing your sequence as fixing your tempo since a lot of people refer to their sequence problems in terms of speed.

I'd be sceptical about the before and after videos they use - they look like twins instead*
