Pxg m16 shaft - anyone have comparison path and ftp numbers to steel?

Hoping someone has data on whether the shaft helped with consistency in path or ftp numbers compared to steel. I'm not interested in how it feels, looks, or anecdotal feedback. Just hoping for numbers on path and face to path compared to steel.

Well…I got a bat attack br with steel, then sent it back to get it with m16.  Not sure about the numbers but the sound I couldn’t stand.  Made a “ting” that lead to me selling it.

That sucks you couldn't get rid of the ting after the shaft install

Ya.  Oh well.  Even without the sound the feel and alignment with my Toulon LV was better imo.  I keep changing up my putters.  No that any are bad…I just hope to find the very best for me.

Not trying to be a LAB golf pusher but Have you tried the LAB mezz or the other models. Everyone I know who has try one loves it. I have converted a number of my playing partners because they love it after they tried it.

Nope. I'm wondering about the m16 shaft and it's ability to tighten path and ftp numbers. I'll find out in a bit. Will stop by pxg on my way home from work.

It is a very interesting question if a graphite shaft really changes performance. It changes how the putter feels and the sound based on my first hand experience if that helps. I demo PXG and was able to switch back and forth at the fitting center and could feel a difference.

Yep. I read their marketing stuff. It's marketing lingo. 

 

I tested the shaft. Test was a bit tainted because pxg can't swap grips on their m16 shafts like they can their steel shafts. Had their giant 100g+ stock grip. I know with a heavy grip I pull putts more.

 

My gamer Hercules, avgd 2.1 left on path (std dev of .5). M16 shaft in Hercules head my path avgd 1.4 left and .3 std dev. If I can he less left with a heavier grip then I like the potential of my path with my grip being better. Worth a shot, so I ordered the shaft.

Will do. I can't remember my ftp numbers but they were within .3 degrees of each other with a very small std dev. My stroke is ALL about path. Less left and I make more putts.
