Swing changes and driver fitting

I've been using a very low lofted driver (7.5*) as a band aid for swing fault. Now that I've fixed the swing issue I'm hitting the ball pretty low and getting a ton of run. Some of the longest drives in years, but I'm worried once the course softens up I might have an issue.  Would you guys recommend a driver fitting?

Just loft up your current driver and see what happens. Easiest and cheapest fix.

 

If that doesn’t work then yeah go get a proper fitting from a quality fitter

Interesting.  You didn't mention your driver? 

 

Usually, when someone uses a 7.5 with a good FAST swing speed (fixed), it's low-spin relatively high trajectory ball.  A driver fitting is likely to confirm or deny its fixed.  Good idea.

Funny I never thought about just bumping up the loft a bit. I'll start there.

Keep in mind that lofting up will also close the face.  If your miss is a hook, you may have to end up getting a fitting and getting another driver.
