Favorite Stand Bag?

I'm looking for a new bag and am looking for recommendations.  I'd like a stand bag and I want a 14-way divider up top.   I'd like to keep it as close to $200 as possible.  What do you recommend?

Ping hoofer. Mines lasted 6 years at this point. I know I paid around $200, I’m not sure how much they’ve gone up. It still looks nearly new. Great bag.

I have three Titleist Player 4 bags which all weigh about 4 lbs and are way cool:  a Scotty Cameron, a 150th Open, and a Team Titleist.  You don't need 14 dividers !  a stand-carry bag is supposed to be light enough to make carrying enjoyable.  if you tip your bag up vertically for a few seconds when pulling and replacing clubs, there is no problem !!

Really a tough question based upon those requirements. Main factor in the choices is going to be price. 
 

You really need to check them out in a store cause there are a handful of them with each having their strengths and weaknesses and based upon what you’re gonna put up with along with your must haves. 
 

if you don’t have a store near then order a handful on Amazon and return the one you like best. Haha

 

 all the big brands offer what you need in terms of stand bag with 14 slots. Taylormade callaway ping Titleist vessel sun mountain etc. 

 

I personally went with sun mountain c130s. Has legs good storage well built and 15 way. Still it ain’t perfect but for its form and price I got it for it serves me well.

i went from a Nike Sport lite, which was too light and more of a pencil bag with legs, to a Nike hybrid bag, which in hindsite I really liked, apart from the 14 way devider and being really heavy. To a Titleist Players 4+ bag and while i could do with some extra pockets its the best bag ive used, light and sturdy, and i like the 4 way devider; that said i will go for a Ping Hoofer a for my next bag.

After years of Flextechs, Nike etc I have finally gone Hoofer and I love it. If you're on a budget look for a mint used one, they're a great bag.

Another vote for Ping Hoofer. It’s has a nice stand mechanism, has a pass through for cart straps, is very durable, and has nice pockets and zippers. I know it’s a bit over your $200 budget but it’s worth it in the long run.

I’m a fan of Big Max bags and their blade trolly.  The Dri Lite Hybrid Tour, Dri Lite Summit & Dri Lite Hybrid bags fit what you’re looking for and are worth a look.  
IMO, if you want a bag with a 14 top, get one where the dividers are full length of the bag.

If you walk most of the time, then Titleist Players 4 Carbon or Sun Mountain 2.5+ are very good, and lightweight bags. I have the SM 2.5+ which has a wider "mouth", but the same dividers as Titleist, but I'd take any of the two.

 

If you need something to put straps on, then the Ping Hoofer has the best standing mechanism because it has a flat floor and everything is "inside" the bag.

I've been a Titleist carry stand Bag guy for years, till late last year.  Had the new Player's 5 Stand Bag but the zippers and legs were becoming problems.  While traveling, I was at my favorite course about to pay for our rounds when a bag caught my eye; I bought it.  I put the new bag into play, and had the pro shop ship my old bag home, to be returned.  

 

Turns out my new bag is a Ping Hoofer, light enough to carry, but easily used on cart with cart strap feeds, 5-way top, many pockets, etc.

I've had all versions of the Ping Hoofer and they are without a doubt the best bag out there. Currently using the Craz-e Lite one and love it

If you want inexpensive and a 14 way top, I don't think there is a much better deal the Pebble Beach Branded Sun Mountain Bag.
