and it only took me seven months to get them re-gripped and adjusted for loft/lie.

call me a procrastinator -

 

can't wait to play them this weekend.

Nice I got a set of Wilson Staff Goosenecks I had adjusted to my lie and +1 , they play great. Vintage golf is fun

The Hogan Edge was the first mass produced forged cavity back. Best of both worlds. Forgiveness combined with feel. I've been playing them or a similar version ever since they were introduced. Late eighties.

If memory brain cells are still perking along, the Edge Forged were made from 1988 till '91. The Edge Forged GS were '92, honoring Gene Sheeley a long time club designer for Hogan...I gifted a set of the '88 Edges to one GrandSon, and a set of '92 Edge GS to another GrandSon...they're having fun with them now.

Love my set of EDGE Forged irons. Such great feel! As stated above they are the perfect blend of a forged blade feedback with cavity back forgiveness. Enjoy and play well!

I've been using RAM FX-2's for a while now , another forged CB model - and these Edge irons feel pretty close to those. 

I had a few odd GS irons and liked them so much I went looking for a full set. 

 

on the plus side - I sold an older set of irons and bag this weekend to make room for more gear.

there's a set of very usable SpeedSlot woods, gathering dust plus a set of Series 56 metal woods that I kind of liked - ages ago. think they were released in 1990.

 

 

I need to get familiar with Hogan's current era long clubs.

I'm not sure that there is any current era of Hogan clubs, Calloway stopped producing them a number of years back...here's a link that speaks to the Hogan Golf Co's demise:

I had thought that after Calloway dropped the brand, that it was over....I was incorrect. Seems that a year ago the direct-to-consumer Hogan Golf Co did finally close down....😪
