magnetic mounting solution for clicgear 3.5

So i recently won a bushnell wingman view in a raffle at a scramble.  Love it.  I've played 3-4 rounds with it now and i love the simplicity of always having the front/middle/back ready to see.  

 

It's been ungodly hot here in the Texas panhandle, so all of those rounds have been in a cart, but i started thinking today about my walking setup this fall/winter and realized that my clicgear 3.5 is all aluminum/plastic.  So i have nothing to use for the bite magnet of the wingman view or my rangefinder.   I set up the cart this afternoon and I could drop it in the net pocket, but then i would have to pull it out every time i wanted to see the yardages.  Also, that was where I was keeping my rangefinder before, but even that seems kinda silly having used it on the cart post all summer.

 

I was googling around assuming someone made like a small metal plate that hooked on to the clickgear pod mount, but I don't see anything. 

 

Has anyone found something out there, or should I hit up someone in town to fabricate one and start a small business?
