I’ve used the vardon/overlap since childhood, and just switched to interlock this year. I found that I was losing some club stability at the top of my swing and the interlock has helped solve that. 
 

I have fairly large hands but not huge and use a standard grip size with +3 bottom hand

I wear an XL glove when I wear one. Why no size options?  Assuming standard is the size. I didn’t know cadet implied short fingers. Does it ?

Yes cadet has shorter fingers and a slightly wider palm.

 

I have tinkered with overlap and even played a round that way due to hand issues interlock has caused but I just seem to get pain in different spots. 10 finger seems easiest on my hands but I don't feel the same connection.

Huh.  Well. Titleist has an XL cadet that suits me great.  I do have wide hands too. Maybe it’s just perfect because I like a tight fit ?  
 

I don’t seem to get anything bad from interlock.  I do however have faster swing speed with overlap. And I’m talking 4/5 mph with driver.   Lol. It’s just not as connected.

No gloves. Have gone back and forth with overlap and interlock without issue - most recent overlap left a small sore spot so went back to interlock mid round without any issue. They did feel different for a while but now are interchangeable.

Interlock with XL rain gloves - always wear two of them because of very sweaty hands.

Interlocker mainly to play the cut.  but have use the varnum grip for my long irons and working really well especially for the draw 

If I really want to hook my irons  then the ten finger

Have always been an interlocker and can’t really imagine changing. Just feels so natural and stable
