Cleveland Frontline Elite weight screws compatibility

Hello.

 

i could not find anything about my question, if there was a thread before please excuse the new one…

 

i did buy a Cleveland Frontline Elite putter and I like it, but I would like to have the head a little heavier. That for are two weights at the sole of the putter. Cleveland offers weight sets at their US website, but I can not find them in Switzerland and to ship them in will cost more than I would like to pay. 
 

here is the question: the weights looks very similar to the Odyssey ones. Does anybody know if the Odyssey weight may fit the Cleveland putter as well? I have no Odyssey putter here to try them out. But Odyssey weights are available everywhere with very low shipping cost.

But there looks to be some some space in those weights, what I'd suggest is maybe find some heavy washers that fit in there and just set them in there with a dot of hot glue as you can just pull it up later if you don't like. The other suggestion is order some Tungsten Putty, it's used in fishing and tennis so not too hard to find and just fill that void with the putty and see how much weight you can add, can even combo a washer and the putty in there. 

 

Will be a bit of tinkering but it's much cheaper, easy to undo and no chance of cross threading the port or weights.

Tungsten putty, nice tip, thank you. I will Check that out, it sounds simple. I like simple solutions.

Sorry for a late reply to this topic I just stumbled across it. Scotty Cameron Newport weights fit in my Frontline Elite 8 head. They sit flush with the sole, not countersunk like the Cleveland weights.
