Scotch-Weld DP 8410 Applicator Gun

So, I recently bought the 3M DP 8410 epoxy to try, but both applicator guns I purchased off of Amazon don't seem to fit the cartridge. Both had the 10:1 plunger, but there is a ridge/divider in the gun that keeps the 3M cartridge from sitting all the way down and keeping the plunger from lining up. Is this just another case of me being a moron? Or is there a very specific applicator gun that I need? Most of my google searches point to the same guns I've already tried. Any direction/guidance would be huge! Thanks!

The obvious answer is to purchase a 3M gun.  They are expensive, though.

Thanks for the alternative options. The 3M applicator guns are so expensive for home use. I was looking at these before, but didn’t see many people talking about the cheaper aftermarket ones with success.
