Mizuno ST-Z 230 Driver vs Titliest TSR2

Currently gaming a TSR2 but really interested in the Mizzy driver. Looking for peoples thoughts and comparisons if you've gamed both. Been super inconstant with the TSR and I know more user error than not. But as golfers lets blame the club.

Not a direct answer but I have the STZ220 and I'm not sure what's in the design but its a super super stable head and Ive played Pings before and I would say its their equal in terms of stability.

The exact two drivers I switch back and forth with. Both long and forgiving. I feel like I get a tad more distance with the Mizuno. Use a GD AD DI in both. Happy with both. I planned on getting the Ping 430 LST to compete with the TSR2 but the Mizuno was better. TSR2 and the Mizuno are very similar type drivers.

Just got ST-Z 230.. Only two range sessions in so far. Solid driver. Got it online for a considerable discount so got the stock kai'li blue shaft may look to upgrade later.. 

 

I will say it sits a touch open, which I personally don't hate as it turns my pull miss into a baby fade just right of the target line. 

 

Coming from Ping G400 Max the sound is going to take some getting used to. I know everyone hates the way that Ping drivers sound but I finally got used to it and loved it. Mizzy is a very subtle thud sound.

Played both and have the mizzy in my bag a tad longer as mentioned above and more forgiving imo.  Both outstanding drivers but will say I never felt more confident with a driver.  Mizzy is here now in the driver world! 
 

I play the x now had the z which is just as great but the x has giving me better numbers.

Not exactly the same, but I switched from a 917 D2 to the ST-Z 220. I have played probably 30 rounds with STZ. For me, the Mizuno is significantly longer and much more forgiving. The only real drawback i've found is that you have to work hard to shape drives. 

 

Also, this is 100% a feel thing and could just be me, a perfect strike feels a lot less satisfying with the Mizuno. That said, the perfect strike with the Mizuno goes significantly further than a perfect strike with the 917.

I had the 917 D3 for quite some time, and would say it's the best Titleist driver I've had. Can understand your comparison to the 220 in terms of feel, but if you go to the 230, you'll find it's the best sound and feel of any current driver. It's a subjective opinion of course, but I've had all 3 Mizuno ST series drivers, and while the original and 220 were almost identical in every way, the 230 is a huge improvement in every aspect.

Currently have the TSR3 and it’s great gonna try the STZ 230 and STG 230. See what happens. Anyone try this against the TSR3

Hit my miz today once and it was perfect. Compared to my tsr2 I like the looks of the miz better
