TSi4 vs TSr4

I'm a high spin player and have played the TSi4 for about 2 years. Does anyone have experience comparing the two?

The reviews I've seen on youtube mostly cite that the movable weight as the most notable feature, allowing you to essentially create a TSr3.5. I'm spinning the TSi4 3000-3500rpms, so that's not much use for me.

If you play the club the way that it is meant to be played with the weight up front, I cannot tell a difference in any of the TS 4 models. I had to replace a TSi4 and I just got another one after trying them all. I just got another TSi4 since I use a heavier weight and the jerks who design the clubs change the weights... and I had this weight already.

There is some nuance between the models, but not really difference.

TSR4 has a similar face to TSR2. It was designed to give more consistent ball speed and spin #s across the face (top to bottom, and heel to toe). TSR3's face was designed to reward center-face contact, at the expense of higher spin when you miss center of the face.

TSi4 has a face that's closer to TSR3. So if you are all over the face, or your consistent miss is to one side (heel or toe), in theory TSR4 would give you lower spin #s vs TSi4.

also on this boat. I've a 10 deg tsi4, wondering if tsi4 8 would make much of a difference, otherwise just wait for tsr4 price to come in a bit before pulling the trigger.

The TSR4 seemed a whole lot more forgiving! TSi4 was beat out by the TSi2 for me because of forgiveness across entire face. Now with that being said the TSR2 & TSR4 seem extremely similar in terms of forgiveness just with a little lower spin on the 4. If I were you I would upgrade to the TSR4 tomorrow! You will be shocked I bet with how much easier it is to hit!! Hope that helps. Went too a G430 LST now and it has both the forgiveness and the speed! Hope that helps you a little!
