Dana Dahlquist & Jerome Rufin series……5 Stars

This series is the best thing out right now but I think Dana needs some help with the costs of a range upgrade.  Perhaps a

GoFundMe is warranted, donate $500 to the range and get a free 30 minute lesson.

Easy now. You're messing with its mystique of total indifference. We wouldn't want all the LB hoity toity flocking there, straddling the few parking stalls in their Hummers.

Can anyone explain why the Greg Norman drill, as Dana describes helps with getting a higher ball flight? Is it just because it helps shallow with the trail shoulder?

I have similar issues with coming in steep and getting low flight pulls.

From what I saw when I quickly view the video it helps prevent you from spinning your hips and shoulders open and pulling the path left, maybe someone else will have a more technical definition. Everyone is different but for me to get all those moves down all I need to think is try hitting the ball super high over a tree or something but I've got a good bit of experience.

More secondary tilt and rightward path would be my guess.

Ferris wheel is steeper, more vertical to Left shoulder, shoulder is fulcrum.  That will shallow the path.

I reset my set up to do this. Turns out, I also had my upper to far forward.

It's early right now, but hitting the ball straight again. Not thinking about hands and lag, but set up and shoulders.

I have lost some distance at the moment, but no more wild misses. I am also not trying to kill it.

This really is a great video

Yeah, no need to try to kill it, load your core and deliver in sequence, tweak your alignments as best you can.  Guessing you need to make a steeper BS shoulder turn.

If you haven’t checked out Sportsbox ai think about it.  Tracking progress is the most useful feature of Sportsbox ai, also has swing detection and replay.  It’s an amazing piece of software, is it as accurate as gears, no.  Can you afford to practice in gears?  Can you monitor incremental progress outside of gears?

It's painful to watch this guy spend so much time on his long game and almost no time on his putting/short game. Unlimited resources and yet all he wants is a beautiful swing vs a good score. He's like the anti-Not a Scratch Golfer.

Honestly, I think he's going about it the right way. For someone who has only been playing golf for less than a year, the biggest places to cut strokes are off the tee (keeping the ball in play) and approach. He's got all the time in the world to work on his short game down the road once he has a repeatable and somewhat consistent swing.

I was going to say almost the same thing.

I mean, maybe he should spend a little more time on the putting or short game for now (his three-putt from about 15 feet at about the 2:40 mark was painful), but… yeah, the long game (full swing stuff) is the biggest separator. It has the highest "Separation Value®".
