Curious - which custom shafts demand highest resale value ones with which adapters - ping, Callaway, taylormade or others?

Adapter doesn't tend to matter but a lot of golfers tend to play Taylormade, Callaway and Titleist drivers so keep that in mind. Ventus line tends to have higher resale value as well as the more modern Graphite Design shafts. 5th gen Diamana shafts also tend to hold their value as well.

Agree with above poster. Been doing a ton of hunting on shafts lately and ventus is the easy answer. Autoflex seem sort of dumb how expensive they are, but seem to continue to hold value. The newer graphite design stuff is holding strong value, and the Tensei 1k seems consistently priced (though perhaps not over priced??). In my personal opinion, adapters might change the price of the shaft $10 one way or another, but most people who mess around with shafts don't seem to mind swapping adapters.

Whatever is popular and/or sought after is what will demand the highest resale. These days that is the Ventus lineup.

Regarding adaptors, the only thing that can really change value in either direction is whether the adaptor is no longer compatible with current heads which might lower value slightly (old PING adaptors, pre-2013 Taylormade adaptors, pre-2011 Titleist Fairway adapters) or if the adaptor is a rarer/tour issued version (Taylormade 1*/1.5*/2* Tour Issue adaptors, Callaway Red Dot/Green Dot). These don't factor in much though.
