Elbow limitation maybe cause of consistent fade into slice with driver? with video.

I picked up the game after about 15 years 6 months ago, and have been working on my swing quite a bit with trackman and other golf sim technologies. Current trackman handicap is 2.2.

 

My iron play is very solid, my 50 yard in game is okay. My driver makes or breaks my round.

 

I'm a lefty, and my ball consistently moves right to left. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. I generally know when it's a lot off the club, but I can't figure out how to get it straight, or move into a draw.

 

I have a minor elbow issue I've been living with where I can't fully straighten my left elbow. It doesn't impact me much, beyond maybe this? It makes it challenging to fully extend consistently.

 

I've attached a video of two swings I took. They're representative of my solid swings, and if you look at the board before I swing you can see my sidespin RPM varies wildly from ~60 to -600.

 

I feel like the cause is my left elbow moves away from my body, putting me into an over the top plane where my clubhead can't quite catch up.

 

Am I totally off track?

I had elbow surgery in 1982 and can’t straighten my right elbow (righty).  Not relevant.

 

Your elbows are too far apart first move down.  

 

Your big issue is your hip movement.  Setup is an issue as well.  No knee bend and shoulders pretty open

Your elbows are too far apart first move down.  

 

Your issue is your hip movement.  Setup is an issue as well.  No knee bend and shoulders pretty open

Would the elbow separation be a result of the arm separation and rolling the club in the takeaway?

It’s not that bad for a driver.  Setup and incorrect pelvis movement in the backswing is the big issue IMO.
