Odyssey Ai-ONE Jailbird CRUISER - Like New

Length: 38"

How much would it change lie angle if you played it at 34 inches? Is that even possible cutting 4 inches off and it be playable?

I believe the reason it plays at 38" is because of the counterbalancing in the grip. 

 

With that said I know that it's meant to be played choked down on the grip so maybe the lie angle wouldn't be the problem but the weight.

 Yes of course you could. No one is holding this at the butt at 38" length anyways.  It's basically just a 34" putter with the same head weight.

I cut mine down from 38 to 35.75" and put a Superstroke Tour 2.0 XL on it. I grip it at approximately 33.75" so far it's insanely good. You could 100% cut to your normal play length of 34" and it would be great. It's a 380gram head so only 10g heavier than the 2-Ball AI and 20g heavier then the 7S AI. At 38" didn't feel right to me. Now at the new length which I copied Wyndam Clark I am a big fan.
