The beauty of the Lab putters according to them is that they are pretty interchangeable and the DF3 just adds extra forgiveness, same stroke with each style. He's switched in and out of different blade styles mostly. He spent a little time with the jailbird and now partnering with Lab. Probably the easiest switch for a blade guy is to go into the Link. Then from that there is room to try DF3.

From a personal experience, the "built-in shaft lean" in DF3 and Mezz series are quite different especially visually comparing to the Link.1. However I definitely agree that it's still likely going to be an easier switch compared to switching from traditional blade to traditional mallet

Hard to blame a 4 day event on just a few putts. So many things could have bounced this way or that. 
 

facts are he had his best finish in years and set tied the course record on Thursday. I think I would roll with it a bit longer after that..

Tinkering with putters is life.  I play pool( one pocket ) for decent coin at Derby city / Vegas cash matches. Some days a certain cue feels right and some days others feel right. I have to imagine same goes for pro golfers in certain cases. But I could be wrong. That’s pretty common too

But I swear I recall him bagging on Bustajacks putters in the past haha

128th in Stroke gained putting, and way down on putts per hole... hopefully back to the Link in round 2 and sticks with it! Granted he hit some wild tee balls which didn't help.
