tc201 vs zx7s vs 23' t100s

I’ve had TC201’s & Currently game the ZX7’s. Gave up the TC201’s because I wasn’t a good enough ball striker and needed more forgiveness. Can’t speak to tge T100’s but I do not care for the shape of Titleist irons. TC201’s played like blades to me.

Switched from ZX7 into TC-201 (however am a better ball striker now vs when I was fitted for the ZX7s). TC-201 feels much denser, more of a powerful solid feel whereas ZX7 is possibly softer. The ZX7 to me looks larger at address (thicker topline and longer bladelength). Similar distance on both for me

Went from MP-33's to ZX5/ZX7 combo. It's not just about forgiveness. More about ease of consistency.

I just got some tc201s in today gonna test at the range against my zx7s.

tc201s did not wow me... not liking the swingweight tbh. my friend has a 60% off for titleist so might try t100s..

I had tc201s and I felt the same. I think my issue was I had this high expectation of them and they didn’t meet them. So that’s on me. But they felt really solid. Not overly soft like zx7. Imo.

Have played all three. All three excellent. Only discerning characteristics when compared amongst them, for myself, were:

TC201's are heavier, the ZX7's have a stronger ball flight and the T100's spin more.

ZX7's on larger side. TC201's smallish. T100's small.

All have a great feel in their own way.

Played great golf with each and would be happy with each. Shaft selection will play big part as that can change up feel/spin/flight as desired.

Currently playing a combo set of TC201 (4-6 iron) and MC502 (7-PW) with Steelfiber 125x. I really like them but I'm not as consistent with them as I was with my MB101 with KBS $ Tapers in X. I don't know if its the shaft or just my swing lately, but my distances aren't as good since I made the switch to Steelfibers. I have a set of Black Chrome ZX7's with Axiom 125x's coming soon to try. I also have a brand new set of KBS Black $ Tapers that I might put in the Miura set but when I go back to Steel my golfers elbow issues always come back. I played a set of Srixon Z Forged from like 6-7 years ago with Steelfibers and those were incredible. That's why I'm surprised by the issues I'm seeing with the ones in my Miuras. Makes me wonder if they were actually built right at Miura. Once I get the ZX 7's I'll post some findings.

yeah had high expectations aswell, -kinda cuz the miura name

Haha yup I know the feeling! I will say, I’ve never hit anything like them. They felt VERY solid and you can tell they were a forged iron. I also felt they had a ton of feedback on anything not dead center.
