Looks like they've made the grey darker?

Maybe? The driver has what appears to be the grey and the UW looks black. Unless its a newer version of the grey I’m not sure? Lamkin drives me nuts with how many of their grips I have loved and they discontinued so wouldn’t be surprised if its tour only.

You would have to contact either LAB or TPT on that.  Retail is $399 for just the shaft though

You cannot buy a TPT putter shaft as a single part.  TPT putter shafts are exclusive to LAB Golf only.  Which makes you wonder how Cameron got it??  If it was pulled from a LAB putter that is pretty messed up.

If by "you", meaning us plebs then yes.  Answers tend to be a little different for tour players.

I wholeheartedly disagree with the idea that it is messed up.  If you legally take ownership of something and not under contract it is yours to do what you please with it.  Turn it into the world's most expensive toilet plunger...LAB can't tell you what to do with a product they sell once ownership is transferred.

By you I mean "no one".  TPT putter shafts not available to anyone except LAB.  It is messed up if a company gives you a piece of equipment and you tear it apart to be used by another manufacturer in an "attempt" to mimic their design.  I'm not saying that's what happened, but if it did I think that is wrong.

But Tiger Wood uses a Scotty Cameron putter with a Ping grip haha

Well, Byeong Hun A must be a "no one" by your logic, because he certainly found a way to get one.  Most likely by doing what anyone else can...order a putter from LAB and swap the shaft out.  100% legal, and available to anyone.

Not sure why you are assuming that LAB or TPT gave away equipment to Byeoung or Scotty Cameron...they have millions of dollars on the line and you think they wouldn't purchase and tear apart a putter if they wanted to?

LAB doesn't retain ownership of items they sell.  Scotty Cameron isn't reselling so you can take offense to it but there's zero foul play here and it's a very attainable item, just have to be willing to pay.

it is extremely rare for a professional golfer to pay for equipment.  Of course it is not illegal.  I am saying I don't feel it is morally right for a player to take a club from a manufacturer and use the components in another manufactures club that is trying to copy the design.  Like I said, I don't know for sure that is the case, but if it is then that is not right.  Someone from Cameron could have bought a LAB putter and used the components, sure, but companies go to great lengths to get their products into the hands of tour pros and they do not charge them.

A player’s company takes a shaft from one of their player’s clubs and installs it one of their heads in an effort to get said player in one of their putters… Not really sure that’s a “morality hill” worth dyin’ on WB 😉

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
