Ping hybrid fans. Flat lie angle

In the market for a 19* hybrid as I just can't get over the lefts with my cobra 19*.  Can you adjust just the lie on ping hybrids and keep the loft the same if I get a 19* or would it be best to get a 21 and turn it down?

You can keep the loft the same in the flat setting.

They don’t make a 21 — their 4H is 22 degrees, but you can put it in flat-minus and that’ll be 21. Or just go with the 19 degree 3H in the flat setting.

The Tour 2.0 Chrome 85 is a pretty darn good hybrid shaft, too.

Just FYI ping adapters have a flat setting because their standard setting is in the upright position. It does not mean it goes flatter than other OEMs that do not have a flat setting.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the bolded portion is accurate. Ping's standard setting is its most upright setting, but the flat setting is a bit flatter than most other OEMs let you get.

For example, looking at 4 hybrids ... Ping's flattest lie angle is 56 degrees. Callaway's (on its standard Ai Smoke, which is the one I pulled up for comparison) is 58 degrees. Titleist's standard is 57.5 degrees but you can flatten it to 56.75 degrees -- flatter for sure than most OEMs, but not quite as flat as the Ping.

If you want a really flat lie angle, based on every spec I've been able to find, Ping is your flattest option. If there's something else out there that goes flatter, though, please let me know ... I'd be in the market!

This Ping blog post is from the G410 range, but the specs haven't changed so it's still worth a read.

Ping in the flat setting is more flat than any other OEM.

You are correct. Ping hybrids in the flat setting are the lowest lie angle on the market.

Can the Callaways without an adjustable adapter be bent? They have a bunch of options there.
