Is the Diamana 43X a Unicorn shaft?

I've been playing this in a PING G430 Max 10k for a few months now. And I love it so far. While the swing speed in under 100MPH, I have a quick transition that needs a stable shaft.

 

The combination of head and shaft has made a massive difference to my driving this year. My swingpeed has gone up around 5 mph. I think this shaft is only a small factor in this, however I can swing his is hard as I can with almost no fear of a hook. I don't know of any other sub 50gram shafts that play as stable as this, as well as not launching or spinning excessively?

 

If there are, I'm open to suggestions?

Sounds like you may have found your unicorn. If weight, stiffness and bend profile combined to give you supreme confidence that is a beautiful thing for your tee game. Diamana WB is a very stable shaft by design.

Yeah I think I may have. It's just an unusual combo, the nearest comparable shaft I've seen is a VF 4, but that isn't available in X flex.

I play a Diamana ZF 40x and it is also super stable. It weighs 49.5g cut to play at 45.75". I gained 3-4mph club head speed. Lighter weight is not for everyone but for some it helps.

Hit VF5 today. That was good. Really stable.

Sounds like you found something good.  I haven't tried that shaft, guess I totally overlooked it.  A 43g X flex, high bend, just maybe good with my fast transition.  We shall see... 

 

Thanks to a buddy, I was able to try the Vanquish 4 series, but wasn't impressed.

Vanquish felt like a noodle to me. Cool looking shaft though.

Agree!  I couldn't slow my tempo or SS enough to make it work.
