No idea where to post this.... 2025 U.S. Open tickets, any have experience with AXS?

No idea where to post this on the forum.  If it needs moved, please let me know.

 

Looking to buy 2025 U.S. Open practice round tickets for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednedsay.  Tickets are on stubhub, but all say  AXS Transfer.  I Have never used AXS to have any idea how this works.   Do paper tickets not exist anymore for the U.S. Open?  I haven't attended an event since 2016  and tickets were on paper then. Based on my limited research, I need to make an AXS account.  The seller then transfers the tickets to me and can do so up until a few days before the event.  IT is almost a year away.  What are my options if I pay and the seller does not transfer them?  

 

Want to buy tickets (without paying full USGA asking price if possible) but want to do so safely.  If I remember correctly, in 2016 (I know a lot has changed since then), the USGA sold practice round packages for all 3 days.  That no longer seems the case.  Additionally, I purchased those through the USGA at that time, only to find tickets on stubhub a month or so later at a much better price  (had to buy an extra one for a friend).

I bought stub hub tickets for practice round for this past us open. I had to make an axs too. No paper tickets at all. Cashless venue as well. Tickets were in the usga app that you login with axs account. I’d say recourse would be through stub hub or whatever second hand platform you buy tickets from if they aren’t transferred.

Oakmont has a lot of space and I figure tickets will be available for some time leading into the event next year.  If you don’t mind, when did you purchase your tickets in relation to the event?  Also, how did you receive them?  Did they go to your e-mail or to your axs account?

AXS is 100% legit. Used them many times for concert tix.

the app I believe. Colorado concert venue that only used AXS.

I just bought two weekly grounds tickets for Oakmont so I sure hope AXS is ok.🙄

 

The FAQ said you can order paper tickets but normal is through the app….which most events we’ve attended in the past few years have done as well.  
 

Maybe they figure you’re more likely to forget your paper tickets than your mobile.

Bought on stub hub about a month before the open. Axs account.
