Well hopping off the other thread, if we get a group together where would you want to play? Last year we played @ Scotland Run, any suggestions to play? Let's put a list together and get together and play!

I don't care where - what days were you thinking? I got a baby and pregnant wife at home, but if we can hammer down the day I will play anywhere.

J/k, no this is an open invite to anyone in our area who has a pulse! Last year I believe it started off with close to 3 4somes, and ended with just 1 4some! Anyways, CDesano is a 1.5 and I'm like a 15ish, so it shows you don't have to be good!

 

And I know how you feel, I have a 1 year old and 2 preteens...so I understand the need to nail something down.

 

Throw out the course, we'll build a list and then get a consensus of where to play.

Hey now, handicap on the rise here so be careful!!

 

Scotland Run worked well last year, it is a course that most any semi avid golfer can handle. Wide fairways and huge greens and is typically in decent shape.

 

Another option would be Wedgwood, but no range which I hate!

I'd love to play wedgewood, I believe it's a hell of alot cheaper than Scotland Run too! And I'm hope to not have to shell out a 105 again if possible.

So far I can't...especially since my son will be having his 2nd birthday party that day... obviously I'd love to play, but sleeping on the front porch for a few months is not all that inviting to me! LOL...

I can't do the one on the 19th - vacation.

 

I am a 10 so I am a little gooder than some but a little worser than others.

 

I am on the other side of Philly from you guys and don't really know NJ golf very well so I defer to your judgement on location.

 

I could do the 10 - 12th of April if those dates work for anyone else.

Well, dlo, WEdgewood should be pretty easy for you:

From Philadelphia

1. Take The Ben Franklin Bridge (I-676 E) into NJ 5.59 miles

2. I-676 E becomes I-76 E. 1.99 miles

3. I-76 E becomes NJ-42 S. 7.63 miles

4. Merge onto BLACK HORSE PIKE/NJ-168 N toward SICKLERVILLE. 0.31 miles

5. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto CR-705. 0.24 miles

6. Turn LEFT onto WILSON RD. 1.29 miles

7. Wilson RD. dead ends into golf course.

 

Total Estimated Time: 22 minutes

Total Distance: 18.38 miles

I own the mizunos, but i have never actually played the mizunos. they were a gift from the wife in the dead of winter. besides, everyone knows that the eye 2 + is the best iron ever built. if i could get my dad to sell me his i would swap out the mizunos in a second.

In reality Pete, we should look at playing the Blue tees as to not put people in a position where they do not have fun. I would also suggest that others make a suggestion to distance because we could, if we had enough, group people to gether by preference.

 

Lets be honest the round is more enjoyable if we all play from tees that fit our ability, no matter if that is from 7000 yards or 6000 yards.
