Callaway Golf's proprietary notching weighting system increases forgiveness and accuracy, even on off-center shots. By removing weight from the center of the club, substantial bulk is removed from the clubhead. This bulk is then relocated to key areas, including the heel and toe and across the back ribbon area.

 

This maximum perimeter weighting helps to square up the clubface, especially on off-center hits. It also increases the MOI for added stability and a more solid feel.

Bought a set of BB's in 2007 after comparing them on the range with the Ping G5, the Mizuno MX-19, the Cobra S9 and the TaylorMade R7. The Big Bertha was even with the G5 and well ahead of the others. The R7's were nice but less forgiving. I went with the Big Bertha's based on price. They replaced a set of Cobra SSi's. I also replaced my Cleveland wedges with the BB wedges and it has really helped the short game. Nice to have the same feel with wedges and irons. Handicap has dropped 2 strokes since putting these in the bag.

Had a set a few years back. I liked them quite a bit until I hit the G10's. Solid club though.
