Trajectory question---need shaft to raise...

What shaft is right??

i have a 425tp, 8.5 degree. i love the club and hit it well.

my only problem is that i hit it a little low.

the current shaft is the factory rombax, 65gram stiff flex.

i need a shaft for a slightly higher trajectory.

what do u recommend.

i would like a 75gram or so shaft in a little stiffer than stiff.

IF you have LOADS of dough....which many of us don't lol then go for an Ozik X-Con7 in stiff...they frequency border X in stiff I have found. If you want middle road shaft try the Bassara 73 by Mitsubishi...and just tip it slightly as I think it plays a bit soft to flex. Lastly the cheap alternatives are the NVS 75g tipped a hair or the Prolaunch Blue 75 and just leave it.

A shaft won't make much difference, you almost certainly need more loft. The Rombax is tip stiff and plays stiff to flex imo, but even going to softer will only sugar the pill slightly. Hieght is all about loft

^That's what I thought also--the book I'm reading by Tom Wishon gives a great example-- it's like holding a hose with water coming out. Angle the hose higher and you get more carry and distance.

9.5 425 TP will do it. Shaftchange won't do it.
