Northern Michigan golf

I played 8 rounds in 5 days in northern Michigan. I played Black Lake, The Tribute, The Loon, The Natural, Black Forest, Little Traverse Bay, Hawks Eye, and Cedar River. Outstanding golf courses! If you are into great scenery Little Traverse Bay and Hawks Eye are a must. Only 55.00 twilight golf on Little Traverse Bay. Has to be one of the best deals in the country. Play them all!

I am going up that way late this summer. I was wondering what you thought of The Loon, Tribute and Black Forest, since i will be playing those 3 and Mountain Lake. Thanks.

The Loon was a nice course, flat, but close to the freeway, which is kind of a negative for me cause I like that way out in the woods kind of feel when im golfing. The Tribute was great with a variety of holes. Very hilly which I like. I played the Tribute on Memorial weekend and the greens had some arrification going from last year Im assuming. Im thinking mid June they would be perfect. Black forest was great. WAY out in the woods.Greens were nice. Ive never played Mountain Lakes. If I were you, I would take the 45 minute drive from Gaylord and play Little Traverse Bay. 55.00 twilight rate. Hawks Eye in Bellaire was awesome too but around 80.00.
