Swingweight question : re: changing driver shafts

I am considering re-shafting my Tour Burner(Stock 60g reax).

 

I understand that changing the shaft weight by 9g alters the swingweight of the club by approx 1 point.

 

My question is does switching to a heavier shaft increase or decrease the swingweight?

(My guess is it decreases the swing weight, making the driver head feel marginally lighter)

if you take an heavier shaft, SW will be higher

Thats a good question...i was wondering the same thing. I have a Driver that plays at D7 45.5" with a 66g v2 in it. I want to put in a 757 speeder which is around 77 grams, i believe. However i want it to play 44.75". How would that affect the swing weight? (tipping it about 3/4 of an inch).
