Which should I get?

Love the features with Golf Guru and for only about $70 more has a strong value proposition as I would pay this extra amount for the stats tracking feature and their intelligreen style feature. However igolf's Neo is a strong seller and seems to be featured widely at a retail level which says alot. The Neo's price and basic features are compelling if Golf Guru maybe flawed. Can anyone make a legitimate argument for the Neo other than price?

It is only the software that may be flawed with the Golf Guru and that mainly affects self-mapped or modified courses. They will eventually get that worked out.

The Neo is hard to beat. I have found every course that I play and then some on their database. The good thing about the Neo as compared to other GPS models is you pay for your first years subsrciption and you can download 100 courses and those are yours to keep whether you keep your membership or not. I have found about every course I play and then some that I go play for time to time. There hasn't been one course in my area that I can't find.

I will say that the yardages probably aren't spot on all the time, but I am not that great to where a yard or two will kill my game.

For the price and what you get for that price it is a great unit!

After reading forums, comparing products, and talking to a few golf retail sales people, I chose iGolf's Caddie II. I have not been disappointed! It outperforms my friends Skycaddy SG2.5 hands down (speed, ease of use, & accuracy). I suppose if you play a lot of unfamiliar courses then some of the bells and whistles (like Intelligreen) on other models could be useful. But if you generally play the same familiar course then all you really need are the distances.
