Overview

As a world leader in carbon fiber technology and graphite golf shaft innovation for the past two decades the FUBUKI project represents one of a variety of ongoing technology driven projects currently underway at Mitsubishi Rayon. The FUBUKI project has been in process for nearly two years and has resulted in a variety of prototype structures that are designed to deliver outstanding consistency in launch and back spin, while minimizing shaft deformation at impact.

 

FUBUKI was officially released as a prototype on the PGA TOUR in early 2008 and utilizes a unique patent pending technology developed by Mitsubishi Rayon - Modulus Differential Technology (MDT).

Is it possible to get this shaft 47" in length as an X flex? (The chart shows them in 46")

 

 

For all the readers: in your opinion which head would you put this shaft in: the original FT-5, the FT-5 w/ hosel, or SuperQuad TP?!!! Thanks for your input!

I've got 2 and they are both great putters. My Oil Can still looks brand new lol.

 

 

When will these be available? Same price as the Diamana line?

I am not sure... I would love it to be the same price as the Diamana line but I highly doubt it... Seems like they got this shaft on lock and will rise to the top of the charts ASAP... Hence why I want to get one! haha

The first release is the 70ish gram first and it will be any day now.

 

I'm in discussion with the tour dept to release the 60ish asap.

 

I've been told that It's gonna be a different graphics than the prototype one....No prototype graphics are in stock. There are all at the British Open tour van.

 

Prise point will be level up with WHITE board or just a hair higher!

 

I'm not sure yet, how many pieces are my first batch. Email me if you guys seriously need any!

Where would the Fubuki fit in the Blueboard/Whiteboard/Redboard spectrum as far as launch & spin?

 

From what i've seen and tested, Trajectory would be some where between blue and red ( closer to blue ) and spin rate between Blue and White.

 

But all this depending also on installation which IMO FUBUKI is critical on tipping issue. S and X flex is not the same treatment either in tipping. Without the right tipping, it won't perform as we gonna expect it to be.

Can't say enough good things about my Fubuki 7084X M003 Proto / G10 combo. Been gaming this for a couple months and have never driven it this well before. This thing feels great, is tight, long and very predictable.
