Shaft frequency HELP needed; does this make sense?

This is my last day to return the clubs.

Bought a set of Titleist AP2's on e-bay. Set is set up with KB Tour shaft that are supposed to be blueprinted to match the frequency of a rifle 6.0, and are to SW at D3. The shafts are the KB Tour 6.5's (130g)softstepped.

So I go and play and like them pretty much, although they seem softer than my old rifle flighted 6.0's. I check them out and find the swingweight is consistently D5 (or D4 - 2 different machines). I don't mind the heavy feel. Howver the 6 iron (37.5") was put on a frequency machine and came in 294. The guy told me that would equate to a soft flex or even ladies flex.

I quickly grabbed some other 6 iron clubs and found the following (best I can remember). S300 freq of 321, project X 5.5 freq of 322 (it was D2 SW), flighted rifle 6.0 approx 323, and a DG SL R300 around 295.

I also tested the total weight of the AP2 clubs, KB Tour and project X 5.5, and found them to be the same. This surprised me as the shaft weight of the KB Tour is 130g (vs. 118g for PX 5.5), and with the extra SW of the KB Tour's I would have thought it would habe been much heavier. The KB Tour is a counterbalanced shaft so again I would have thought more tip weight would have been necessary to get to a higher SW.

I do not understand what is going on here! I hit the clubs well but find I can turn it over left a bit with a draw. Although I have picked up almost a full club length in distance I am worried about control. When I tested the X100 with the AP2's, it was straight as an arrow. (no idea of the distance though)

Questions I have;
1. Could the extra SW be causing the shaft to freq. that much softer?
2. Is 294 a really soft flex?
3. Could it be the lighter KB Tour 5.5 (120g) was put in and tip weighted to get the SW so high? (there is no marking on the label.)

4. Would tipping each iron 1/4" help much stiffening the clubs?

Cpm's are for setting clubs up to play at D2,since your are heavier it will cpm out lower then normal.Plus the grip alone causes it to freqs out lower.If it feels good,i wouldnt worry about it..Cpm is only a number that pertains to the Butt stiffness,not the overall stiffness of a shaft.All shafts have a profile,thats more important then BUTT cpm.
