College of Charleston Ping Hoofer

Anyone got one or know where to get one

Like a year ago I saw one on ebay and never pulled the trigger, but I am looking for a Ping Hoofer that says charleston on the side where it normally says Ping and I think it had the palmetto and the moon on the back pocket near the bottom. Anyone wanna sell or know where I can find one I have looked all over for it.

I tried to do that for an Auburn bag from both the men's and women's teams with no luck at all...was certainly willing to throw some bones their way.

well, you got a couple other options besides donations.

Find a Ping dealer that's pretty large, and where you can talk to the buyer. Explain to him/her what you want, and see if he'll order it for you.

The reason you need to find a a bigger account (in terms of dollars) and why you need to talk to the buyer is that this is going to take a little pull from him in order to get it done, but the whole alum thing should help you along.

Option 2: There's a guy in either Ohio or Iowa, I'll try and get his name, that does a boatload of custom Ping bags. He probably accounts for 15% of ping's custom bag orders. He can get you whatever you want.

Better chance if you went to the school.. I have friends that have gotten them from Big 10 schools but they went to that school and most played for the golf team....They really don't want some 18 handicapper "advertising" for their golf team and unless you played for them they have no way to tell..

Coach Griffin is 110% by the rules! No way he's selling one. I was in his office a few weeks ago and saw some new bags. Very nice. BTW, Auburn golf has new men's and women's facilities. WOW they are impressive. Large offices for both coaches and assistants, locker rooms, meeting rooms, kitchen, trophy rooms, 2 large hitting bays for bad weather practicing with state of the art camera setups. What a great place to go play college golf.
