What putter is this

Justin Leonard and Rory Sabbatini has it

What putter is rory sabbatini and justin leonard using, it has the design of a odyssey number 9 and it is all black head with a all black shaft. What brand of putter is it?????? Sorry for the no picture reference. Maybe someone has a photo to help me out. Thanks.

Leonard is using a Cameron Del Mar 3.5. Sabbatini is using a Bettinardi Prototype that was copied from an Odyssey XG 9.

Are u sure sabbatini is using it? I was with him yesterday at Akron and noticed it looked like he had a Rife blue headcover from the Aussie blade. Could it be a Rife proto?

He may not be now, but he was using what Bettinardi calls the "Rory" Proto. Like I stated before it is basically a #9 copy. Rife does have a heel shafted mallet now, so that could be what he has in his bag now.

I can't see how you can say that Sabbatini's was copied from the Odyssey XG 9. This general head design has been around for years since the popularity of the Wilson TPA line (and Faldo's use). Bettinardi has been various versions for years also. Odyssey's version is only recent.

Its pretty much a dead copy of the wilson tpa XVIII--faldo used it for a couple masters wins.

The Odyssey resembles it a bit more. a Little bit more shallow face. No ferrule. Basically a cleaner look. The Betti Rory looks awesome

I saw Rory throw his putter off a bridge into the stream below during the final day of the Viking Classic last September. He three putted for a bogey on the par 5 18th. Unfortunately for me, a security guy jumped in the stream to get it before I could. :(

 

edit: Just thought I should mention that even though I do not like him, he did sign autographs for little kids for about an hour after he signed his card. I really didn't expect him to do that. So brownie points for you sir!

agreed. least favorite player. But a cool putter. phil plays the odyssey that makes this shape putter more well know. Even though Justin leonard is by far the best putter out of all players named his putter isn't as well recognized for how cool it is.(great design, cool shaft, and the white wrap he uses looks cool also).

isnt the all white grip justin uses just some type of gauze or tennis racket handle wrap? its not an actual white grip is it? or am i wrong?
