Played my first round with a Blue Board yesterday....

Pretty good results, but have a question.

Hit 8 out of 12 fairways and the 2 of the 4 that I missed were by about 8 feet. One nasty hook and one blocked right but all in all very pleased. Great feel, much smoother than the RE AX that I've been playing. I don't think I picked up any yardage but the consistency is light years better. One miss was due to aiming at the right edge of a bunker on the left counting on a fade and pulling it straight about 4 feet left of target. Yep, in the trap up against the lip! Can't blam the club though as I was aiming it there. Hate it when that happens.

Still feels like I'm generating too much spin with it though as I am getting little to no roll out. How much less spin does the White Board make? And, will I notice a big difference in that silky smooth feel?

Can't believe that I've had it all of one week and allready thinking about changing it. :black eye: This forum is not good for the wallet.

whiteboard will lower spin, and i believe is supposed to launch the same, maybe a little lower.

 

I have a 73x whiteboard in my r7 425 tp tipped 1/2in. and i love it, smoooooth as silk

The WhiteBoard will lower launch and spin. It still feels just as good as the BB, so don't worry about that. I would try and jump on a monitor before you ditch the BB. Both are excellent shafts.

I got a pair of them for my Sonartecs for $105 shipped. They can be had for nothing compared to what they used to go for. Heck, you can get a Whiteboard for not much more than $100 now.
