Tour Voodoo

Looks like Kim is Playing the Voodoo , does anyone know where they can be purchased or how I can get a hold of a few from the Tour. I am working a deal with Titleist for clubs and balls just for playing the Hooters Tour and the pepsi tour and going to Q and doing some monday Qualifying and they still said I can only have what they put in my clubs and I can change to whatever I want when I want but I need to have what they gave me in the club when I am given a new club or changing shafts ect. I want to outfit my brothers clubs and brother inlaws and a friends with all voodoos but from the tour??

Kim doesn't use the Voodoo, he uses Ozik TP and Altus in his Driver and his 14* Hybrid.

If Titleist wont put them in your clubs (And they DO have them) then you have to hit up Aldila.

I don't quite understand why you need to shaft up everyone you know at this point.

Shouldn't you be focused on playing well and just getting your equipment set up to be the best for YOU???

The OEMs don't usually like to toss product to people if they are not going to at least use it. Especially at the mini tour level.

They will put them in my clubs all I want but not to walk away with to use in my sons clubs per say.

I have played in no hooter tour events this year was in my last round of Q 4 years ago and had an accident and had monady qualified for some events and Titleist had gave me a deal then and I went back to them and they said they would cover me up for 6 events in to 2009 and if I made it through Q they would take it from there. I am only going to play one or 2 events this year . I will be in Evans Goergia on sept 15th on the hooters tour , thats what I have set in stone why?. At very least I hope to qualify for a dozen or more Nationwide events next year to hopefully earn a card with a few wins . Why do think I would have to bullxxxx you, I am no one and am claiming to be know one. I am trying to find out where I can get tour shafts for friends that I can not get from a sponsor that does not realy even want to sponsor me but agreed to take me on. I am lucky to have the backing I have from them. I was someone and got hurt and they remember me.

Okay, so let me try to figure this out...

 

1. You are hoping to get your tour card next year by winning a few times on the Nationwide tour.

2. Titlest doesn't want to sponsor you but you somehow talked them into doing so?

3. You figure since Titleist has you covered you should just figure out how to get all you can out of the tour van including 200 dollar shafts for all of your family?

Here's my answer. Stop worrying about getting free stuff and focus on apparently becoming the next star. You seem to have it pretty well figured out. Win a few times, get on the tour, make millions. Wish I could do it that easily.

 

As far as where to get the shafts, there are most certainly Aldila reps at most tour events, including Nationwide, and if Titleist is indeed "covering" you they will have the shafts you want in stock if you ask your rep for them.

I can't even bring myself to ask companies for extra hats for my grandfather (who got me started in golf) let alone ask for Voodoo's for my family. Good luck though.

Just because Titleist is "backing" you, doesn't mean that they are going to just give you shafts, clubs, etc. for your family and friends. They are "backing" you...not them.

I think what the OP is trying to say is that he tried to get them from Titleist but couldnt so wants to know where else they're available. i don't think he expected titleist to give him them for free so hes not trying to take advantage like so many of you are saying. Just wants to help out his nearest and dearest.

i have a brand new one from the tour, it is uncut and i believe it is meant for a fairway wood x-flex around 90 grams, I got it from a guy I use to caddy for who is a rep on the PGA tour for a major company
