Burner and Tour Burner faces...caving in at the toe?

Whats up with this?

I have both a TM Burner and Tour burner. I've been playing the tour for most of the season, but had played the Burner extensively before that. I was worried because I saw that there was a dimple in the face of my Burner, towards the toe. It looked almost dented. It wasn't huge, but if you felt it, you could see that there was a dip in the face. Now, it looks like my Tour Burner has it too. What gives? Does this happen to many faces of Burner drivers? Will it hurt the playability of the club a lot? I'll try and get some pics of it up later.

Aren't you supposed to hit the ball somewhere in the middle of the face? Where did you hear that TM was having problems with the faces of their Tour Burners? Fill us in with some facts here guys.

Same thing happened to my friend, two Burners so far. Not on the toe but slightly off the sweet spot towards the toe. TM had no prob replacing them but the down time sucks.

I have never seen the TB or the Burner have dented toes, and I have seen hundreds of both. Kinda odd, but anything is possible right?

I've had two TM drivers, and both have actually done this. First was the R540XD and now my current R7425....Both of them out on the toe towards the top..It isn't quickly noticable, but as said if you rub your finger over it you can feel the cavity. Hasn't seemed to bother performance for me though.

I have seen the same thing in my 425. But as stated above, it hasn't affected the performance at all. As for hitting it off of the toe, it's not like that is what I was trying to do, but hey, I am not good.

Same thing happened to both me and my boss' Burner and Burner TP this week, after a glow in the dark golf night. Those balls caved both of our faces in, mine even pushed back part of the crown making it fold and crackle the paint, it was rough!

my friend had a burner tp that was caving on the toe as well. He hit it on the sweet spot consistantly it must just be a weak point or something. He had reshafted it so he couldnt send it in for replacement either. I am currently playing a burner tp as well but so far no cavage.

TM is great about replacing clubs they will send you a new one, if you had it reshafted put the original shaft in and then send it back.
