Tourstage X Drive 435 w/pics

I just picked this driver up the other day and figured I'd post the pics for everyone who hasn't seen them yet. It's really a great looking club. Tourstage did a great job designing the head to hide the size of it. The driver sets up very square and the paint job on it is incredible. I haven't had a chance to hit it yet but just looking at it and I think it's going to be the new rocket launcher in my bag!

Here's the pics.

sweet!!!!!!

get out and hit that baby.. looked at this driver a few mnths ago.. what shaft did you opt for..

thanks, ken

You know...I didn't even look at it. :) They only had stiffs available so I bought it anyway and stuck in a Tour AD M 65 X I had on the side. Hopefully it works well. It came from Shigeki's old driver. :cheesy:

WooooWeeee! Dayyuuum! Look at the teeth on that! :) Hellava good looking driver there Reid....and since you don't have the time to test it, send it out to Illinois, I always have the time. :pimp: I've got to watch myself, the majority of my bag is turning Tourstage. :cheesy:

Reid, I played this driver with a Fuji Tourspec 553 recently for a couple of games, very solid, althou it launches higher than stated loft IMHO. One thing's for suer though, the ball speed off the face was the highest I have ever experienced.

I was thinking looking at the face that it might be a high launcher. The deepness and bulge on it kept me away from opting for the 10.5. I can't wait to get on the course or range with it.

I've had mine for what seems like a month or so... couple rounds under the belt and a very very solid driver and it's a high launcher( I have 9.5 w/Rombax. Launches higher them my 11 degree FT-3 w/Rombax

Looks like a really nice looking driver Reid.

It'll probably look just as good next week in the back up bag :pimp:

Awww come one Andy. I swear..it's in the bag until a 460 comes out! :D

I'm not aware of the release date.......it can't be more than a few weeks right? :cheesy:

:) Good one! Actually as good as this 435 looks, I don't think I'll need the 25cc's of extra forgiveness!

Whatsa good used Tourstage X-Drive 435 going for these days? :) Anyone know? :pimp: What I'd really like to know is what a fella could pick up a nice, slightly used X-Drive 405 with some but not much bag chatter, and low wear spot usage marks. :cheesy:

Probably $600-650 for the 435, and around $400 for the 405.

Look at you all dropping names and sh!t. :crazy2: When Shiggy (that's what I call him, he calls me Berry. . . we're friends) comes over for lunch next week I'll ask him why he pulled it in the first place. :drinks:

Now that you've had a week to play and subsequently bench this club, any comment? How's the sound? Did you drive it past your playing partner despite your bad back? Any word on forgiveness? Come on man, you need to follow up on stuff! ;)

This is soooo yesterday.........can we delete this thread :pimp: ;)

If you guy's weren't my friends I'd be worried! :ok:

The review will be coming soon. I've only got one round in with it so far. By next week hopefully I'll have two more in there to give a thorough review. So far I can honestly say it's everything the 405 wasn't plus a whole lot more. I will leave you with this though...10/12 fairways used.....hard to beat that even with my sore back. :D

Typical HO, You swing easier bacause your back hurts and then somehow convince yourself that it was the club :drinks: :crazy2:

Andy......... :pimp: Actually it was more the left elbow pain that day then the back! But if you ask pm hacker...I wasn't swinging soft. I was swinging for home runs all day. Hurt like crazy after the round...took my usual Vitamin A ..Advils after.... but I had been waiting for this driver so long, I was too excited to notice any pain. ;)

I hope you're feeling better :D

One of Reid's best driving rounds ever!! Even his mishits were hitting the center of the face and was going about 270+ yards. Very forgiving driver! To say the least...I was very impressed with the 435. You simply cannot go wrong with 10 out of 12 fairways hit with mishits!! Too bad he's a RIGHTY beacuse I would have loved to hit as well. Great pick up Reid-O!!
