I saw something on ebay a few days ago that was the entire set of the ERC fusion irons and woods. I'd say its someone who can cheaply make the japanese designs of the TM R7 Xr set or the ERC fusion irons. It's still hilariously fake hahahahahahahahahaha.

Dude you cannot say that! TaylorMade makes different stuff all around the world. Just because that doesn't look legit in the USA doesn't mean it isn't. If someone from Japan looked our USA stuff they would be like what?? and think it was fake. That bag could be a very popular model in Japan or Europe. The bubble wrap could be how they were wrapped when he got them. You can't assume something is fake because the bubble wrap looks weird! That's like saying look at that MP3 Player, it's fake because the packaging looks weird. I get clubs all the time with bubble wrap on them from the factory.

First off let me take the time to explain something to you. These are notorious fakes. Sets like these along with some Titleist, Nike, Cally, etc. show up all the time on ebay. The first clue is the bag is a pitiful attempt. You can clearly tell it is fake. Second they are 99% of the time coming in from other countries...usually singapore or canada. Another sign is trying to hide the actual irons and woods to keep them from being spotted as fakes. How long have you been using these forums? Did I read right you are 14 or very soon to be? Some of us have been around these forums for quite a long time and have more experience at this. Your attitude for other members is lacking and at the ripe old age of 14 you do not know it all. Show a little respect and people will start to take your posts seriously. Posts like yours are part of the reason people who make quality, informative posts stop posting and just start lurking. I think his point is they don't show the clubs up close. Of course TM makes the advertised model, but it is suspect that he doesn't show what he is selling. Plus, it isn't his first listing on the Bay so he should know the drill.

Even though TM makes XR equipment I believe the clubs in the ebay link are fake. I have seen many auctions over the past few years similar to this, a complete set including a cheap putter and bag, always poor pics are shown. Buyer beware!

Well said Alcap26. Jer Jer needs to realize these are counterfeits to the nth degree. The Cavity in the irons and the bag are a dead giveaway. The cavities have a grit like texture from poor sand casting quality. This is exactly the type thing the big companies are going after becausing this type of stuff is flooding the country from golf equipment all the way to Honda cars and Mini-Coopers. A bargain is not always a bargain...although this is not a bargain to begin with.

Here is another tell tail sign. Take a look at the feedback. A few things popup !!!

1) He has only purchasing feedback, although not strange very supicious.

2) 90% of this guys feedback is from"no longer registered users", so this guy would open an account sell something to himself post feedback then close it.

 

For anyone that thinks that this a ligit deal. I have a slightly used Dodge Dart that goes from 0 to 60 mph... Well eventually........ :)

the woods have fixed weights in the head, the TM R7 XR woods all have removeable weights. That bag has to be the worlds worst copy, I can't believe someone is trying to pass these off. Ebay should really do something about people selling fake OEM gear b/c some Joe is going to get burned for a ton of $$$$. Isn't it against ebay policy to sell clubs with a description like that, that guy selling them must know they're fake right?!?!?!?!?
