What should i expect from this shaft?

Sorry but mi English isn't good as I want :D



I Like low/mid flight and I have problems with hi spin in my drive. The big problem is that I'm in Brazil and there is no golf store here to try all kind of shafts. And the taxes to import a shaft is 70% on the price of the shaft + Shipping :o


Because of these I can only by a good shaft next year on my US vacations.



What should i expect from this shaft in a Bridgestone J33 460 10.5º ?

that's a shaft form a few years ago with graphite on butt end and a steel tip section. don't see many around anymore and I don't remember a lot of people playing it. I had it in an old Cleveland Fairway Wood (just like David Toms used on PGA Tour) and I liked it. but today's technology has gone waaaay beyond the BiMAtrx...you should be able to find a better alternative while here in the US. what are you looking for a shaft to do? lower or higher launch? heavy? light? spin? feel?

I was planning to put that shaft in my spare driver (Cleveland 460Comp) because i wana tri a heavier shaft. I’m playing whit a VSProto 65 S in my J33 460…and I feel that is 2 light for my swing.

 

My only problem (at the moment :D )is spin.

I have a couple of these around for when I'm feeling nastolgic. They recommend no tipping, however, to each his own. From what I remember, it has a decent ballflight but as another poster stated, technology has come along way. Dispersion is marginal at best. A better option would be a Pro Launch blue or red to lower

the ball flight. Long story short...you may not like it compared to what's current.

plenty of heavy low spin driver shafts out there that aren't too expensive. I'm sure others here can give you better examples that might fit better, but I know UST V2s at around 76g may work, or for more expensive, try an 83g Mitsubishi Diamana Blue. the VS Proto also comes in 70g or 80g
