at GolfGalaxy, found a CG12 64" RTG+DSG in great shape. It was probably used for a couple of rounds and left sitting. Had a pretty healthy rust building up on the finish, but groove were perfect and sharp. $22.

Always wanted to try flop shots like Phil does it...

There was also a 08 Vokey SM 60.04 with perfect mill marks still on the face for $39, but I decided to pass on that.

Found a Scotty that was evidently mismarked tonight at a local store. It's a PP Mil Spec. I'm no Scotty fan/lover/hugger, but after stroking putts with it (even though it's an inch too short), I kind of fell in love with it from the putts I was pouring in with it. I bought a UST Frequency Filter shaft to replace the 34 inch shaft with. Needless to say, for $15, I couldn't pass it up. It's dinged up on both the topline and the neck, but hey, for $15, how can you say no? That's cheaper than a stock Scotty grip. I'm about to reshaft it and put the new grip on it and then I have to make the choice on the practice green in the AM about which putter to use, it or the newly refinished SeeMore.

They also had a 52 degree CG12 in the used bin that was marked down to $29 that looked like it was a demo club cause there were no scuffs on it whatsoever that I almost picked up as well. I was gonna get them to bend it to 51 degrees for a GW, but I ended up passing.

Don't know if this was a super deal or not but I think I did well. Just picked up a used iron set, Adams A4 forged with Project X 6.0, 5-PW, for $165 out the door.

I had a set of J33 combo's that it unwisely traded for a new set of i10's about a year ago. Never gotten used to the cast feel. So i found the J36s online and pulled the trigger.

I received them a couple of weeks ago and they are some of the softest, sweetest irons i have ever hit. This is the first time i have played rifle shafts as well. They seem to be longer than the S300's I used to play.

You will enjoy them!!

Thanks - I'm still playing pro golds;but i wanted to try something softer.I'm sure i wont regret the j36's,but the Adams may have to go.
