When I am on the road for work I check on any golf stores before I head to the airport. Was in Tulsa last week and searched my GPS and found Square Deal Golf Balls on my GPS. I arrive at the address on the GPS and there is a guy who looks like he has seen better days eating his lunch of 6 hot dogs. I ask him if this is the place on my GPS and he says yes and takes me to the back of the garage where he has a shelf of used golf balls in Mint condition. I ask him the cost for the Tour Ix, my ball of choice, and he tells me $5 a dozen. I buy 2 dozen on the spot. Get in the car and check them out and go back for two more dozen. The balls are very good with only 1 or 2 per dozen that have the look of 6 or more holes on them, the rest look bradn new. They had everything, ProVs, Bridgestone, Nike, Srixon. He said that they make it around to their golf courses about every three weeks. He said that their business was selling them to the local golf courses for them to make the mark up on but that he was happy selling them to me as well.

golf galaxy is clearing old stock. anything ending ending in .93 price tag is 50%. picked up a speeder 757 S for 45.00 cause the tip was damaged and i had to tip it 3/8", picked up a 757 speeder R for 84.99. just need to find out how much to tip the R to get it to play like a S, the S tipped 3/8 " is a little stout. the club builder said the speeders play srong. great low launch though from the S tipped a bit but feels hard to load

Been looking for the long hosel Brindgestone J33 blade iron set for a couple of years. Watched them sell on ebay for over $300 which is too much for a back up set of irons in my book. Found a set last week in very good condition for $110.00. Funny, the 3 iron looked to be the most used club in the set. Grooves are like new.
