Putting it back to original condition ... BOS does it again!

First a preview of the finished (refinished back to original condition)


Black Oxide Services does their magic again!

You may remember this putter from the For Sale section ... I promised you I'd put it back to original condition.

So one "before" picture of the face (2X black finish) ...


Now an "after" picture of the face (Original SS finish) ...

OMG.. that looks 1000000x's better. I remember seeing that ebay auction w/ the BOS'd black finish.. it just wasnt for me.. now it looks great.

It's not a finish ... it's just polished 303SS. They removed the 2X black finish and put it back to SS and polished it.

 

It's not my putter any more, as I sold it here to another GolfWRX member. I'm shipping it out to him on Monday. Not sure if he'll game it, but he'll have options.

 

Looks awefully pretty to put in play, but that's what they things are for ... making putts.

Actually, BOS measured it at 342.5 grams during the first refinish (to 2X black)

These were never chromed. They are just highly polished stainless steel.

Looks good.Always had first class service from them. They still do most finishes for most of the top high end putters / refinishing.

Agreed...I was very close to buying it, as well. That black finish was certainly gross, but it looks amazing now.
