Black Tour Velvet Cord BCT Grips?

I can find these in red and blue but where are the black ones? Anyone know where I can find these bad boys?

I got the red ones and they are amazing. Always played the M580's before and now I really like the BCT better --- softer with same great grip.

The Black is not the same as the Blue and Red at GW's. I found the Red to feel a bit small though when compared to the old Black......anyone else think the same?

perhaps GW is getting rid of old stock TV cords (i.e. non-BCT) as they don't specify on the site description whether it's the newer version or not. also, are you comparing similar core sizes? seems the Red and Blues only come in .600" whereas most people are used to .580" in the original black TV Cords.

Golf Works is selling off their old TV Cord inventory first I believe. My last order (2 weeks ago, was the old ones). Same from golfsmith as well.

Yes, red and blue are smaller as they are 60 core, vs. 58 core that was more common on the TVFC. Grip is softer feeling. NICE.

 

Black BCT are available in round/reminder 58 and 60 core.

 

BCT is stamped on butt cap.

It looks to me like Golfworks has combined the new and old on one page, but only offer the new ones in .60.

 

I would be surprised if the black is really the new version.

so there could be a few grips that are not marked BCT on the end cap.

Perhaps you can ask Golfsmith for a new and old version

They DO have TVFC BCT on their website in black.

Whether they feel that way or not, they are smaller, end of discussion. The red and blue are .60 and the black .58 (std really) and .60 You may be used to play .60 grips.

I think only those grips that were available prior to the NDMC, such as the new full-cord V-55 BCT, Tour Velvet BCT and Tour Wrap BCT.

How many wraps to make a 60 feel like a 58??

 

1 or 2 depending on the thickness of the build up tape.

Can anyone compare the mcc to the bct? Does the new bct fell soft or harder to the mcc? Thanks
