What do mojo balls compare to?

Due to a good deal on new Nike mojo balls, I'm wondering what kind of performance I can expect from them. I can't find many reviews so I am hoping somebody who has used them can compare them to a more popular ball. Not that I can go too wrong for $10/24.

Better yet, since I'm looking at getting them on the cheap, how do they compare to cheapo slazenger raws from Dick's?

The mojo's for sale are the old ones that say "MOJO" on the ball and have no nike sign. The cover looks and feels like that of any other surlyn ball.

My unscientific testing proved that these spun less than the burner tps and the pro v1s and v1xs. Using a 54* Z TP wedge, I could still see a little check on short chips, but the mojos did indeed roll out the most.

The mojo's don't feel good or bad off the putter to me. I'm not sure how distance compares to the others, but the sound and feeling off the driver is not nearly as satisfying with a MOJO compared to the burner tp.

I'd say it's better than cheapo balls, but not quite to the level expected of most mid-range balls. I wish it was just a tad softer.

that's because the Mojo's aren't midrange balls. they are what they're supposed to be, very low compression two-piece balls a la Noodle, MC Lady, D2 Feel, Power Soft, 50/50, etc. you were comparing them against 3-piece midrange and premium balls. of course they weren't going to measure up.

I know what I was doing. The OP asked for a comparison to more POPULAR balls. I went through exactly what the OP went through back in March the first time the balls went on sale. I play the Burner TP because of the price/playability. I wanted a cheap ball that I could use on off days so I'm not losing tons of my main ball. I know it's a lesser ball and that it's not designed to compete with the upper level balls. But I WAS surprised that it turned out, IMO, better than a lot of the common cheap balls people play.

But I do think it's a harder ball than the d2 feel and power soft.

Thanks for the info, guys.

For $0.42/ball, I went ahead and loaded up in excess with 8 dozen. They'll get used and I'll save some dough.

I've been using bridgestone e6+ for the past two weeks and they really agreed with my short game compared the the raw's I'd been playing. Unfortunately, I've got too much Scrooge in me to keep playing $27/dozen balls when they aren't giving away free shirts with purchase.
