Woukd be pretty sneaky to have a club that says tsr on it and then they release it under a different name. But totally could be. I’d buy one without hitting it first just to see what it’s about

In order to have it in play it would have to be on the USGA's approved driver list and when any new club hits that list it will show up in the Tour forum with photos.

Nice spot. Looks like based on other photos he has it in the "D4" setting which is stock lie and +0.75*, seems like maybe a draw tee club for him? I think he said recently he's moved to hitting more exclusively cuts with the driver so this would fit as an alternate tee club, especially since he's been messing around a lot with the 3W spot after being 4w/7w for awhile. I wonder if the 2w would shift him towards a 5w over the 7w for gapping.

Finally got to hit the 14.5º TSR2+ in a fitting a couple weeks ago and the rep told me that it'd be worth waiting for the new release rather than order on the spot, for whatever that's worth.

Yes and I'm glad. I bought a 13.5 BRNR used last season for $250...just sold the head only for a good bit more than that. 🥸

Think of the marketing to an average consumer.  Do you want a driver thats smaller, shorter, and less forgiving?  Introducing the Titleist TSR Mini Driver.

 

 

Honestly, they shouldn't call them mini drivers, they should call them 3 wood jumbo's.

Eeeehm. A mini/2W should have more spin than a driver. Spin = control, and much less likely to hit quackers. If you can find the relative middle of the face, you should be able to find more fairways....

you could say the same about a 3 wood, and yet they hit only 1% more fairways than a driver.
