One day 36 holes

I'm looking for two layouts within an hour of each other for a one day 36 hole outing in the Baltimore/DC metro area or harrisburg PA areas. I've come up with Iron Valley/Hershey Links combo anyone got any better ideas?

Are you still looking? Not sure what date you were playing. Lots of choices, depending on where you preference is and what your budget is just a few that come to mind.

 

Compass Pointe in Anne Arundel County, MD 36 holes

Frederick MD area any two of the following: PB Dye, Worthington Manor, Maryland National, Musket Ridge would all make a great 36 hole combo.

 

Waverly Woods and Timbers at Troy near Columbia would be great.

 

Bulle Rock and Mountain Branch off I-95 north of Baltimore would pretty much leave you with all the top quality golf you could play in one day.

 

I could go on and on, if you give more idea of what area you want to focus on.

Yeah, already played at Iron Valley and Hershey Links. I'd recommend both though Hershey Links isn't worth full price ($119, I played twilight for $59.) Iron Valley is one of the most interesting courses I've ever played. It's routed through an old mining operation with some dramatic elevation changes and great views.

 

Looks like I've got to plan another 36 hole day this summer with Bulle and Mountain Branch.
