Wilson FG-17 irons

Anyone know the specs?

I just bought an old set of Wilson FG-17 2-PW. Does anyone know the specs on these irons? Loft, lie, length, ect.? Also I'd like to know if I'll be able to adjust the lie angle on such an old club w/o breaking it. I'd like to go 3 up if I can. What type of shaft can I put in these? I just want to know specs and hear your comments on the irons in general. Thanks a lot!

I know that I can't exactly help you with the specs on the irons, but I do have a suggestion. Wilson customer service has been great to me, just send them an e-mail or call their office (American HQ is in Chicago). It may take a few days but they'll get back to you.

I don't have the specs, but i usualy go with today's standard from Mizuno for blades since they haven't changed much.

 

and yes the fg-17 can be bent.. they bend like butter so be careful it's very easy to over bend if your not careful

I just won a brand new set on fleabay today - $160! I'll need to reshaft them and maybe change the lie angles, but I'm looking forward to putting them in play on ocassion. I used to have a beat up old set to mess around with and I was amazed how well I hit them and how solid/soft they felt. I always thought I'd like to try them again and now is that time. Should be fun.
